IMPROVING LIVES: 53IB Continues Adopt-a-CAFGU Project

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “MATAPAT” Battalion (53IB) continues to improve the lives of its CAFGU Active Auxiliaries (CAAs) as part of “Better Life: Adopt a CAFGU Project” today June 17 at Headquarters, Camp Major David Sabido, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur.

Uniforms were given by 53IB Executive Officer Cpt. Bahnarin Camsa to CAAs Adam Lawan, Michael Antoy, John Benigno, Carmelito Bala, Benedic Hupa, Reyno Arevalo, Roel Cabatuan and Albin Abtahi.

The “Better Life: Adopt a CAFGU Project” is a comprehensive program initiated by 53IB designed for the CAAs to achieve personal and professional growth. This project forms part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
