DOMINATING THE INFORMATION ENVIRONMENT: 53IB Distributes Books to the Academe, Stakeholders
The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) continues its campaign for information dominance as it distributes the book entitled “Crossing the Red Line” to different universities and stakeholders in its area of operations.
Crossing the Red Line was authored by the renowned Filipino investigative journalist and countering violent extremism (CVE) author and resource speaker Joan Andrea Toledo.Joan Andrea, or Drei as she is professionally known, is the daughter of Philippines’ top covert New People’s Army (NPA) terrorist Supremo Antonio Lim Toledo.
Ms. Drei in her work said that the book aims to save children from the imminent dangers of communist-terrorist recruitment and radicalization in the Philippines by exposing and dismantling the lies, alibis, and fake stories peddled by her father.
The 53IB, with the permission of the author, already distributed numerous books to various schools, universities, Local Chief Executives (LCEs), and other stakeholders in its AO.
