LOVE FOR COUNTRY | LGU, Teachers, 53IB Demonstrate Patriotism, Loyalty to the Flag

The teachers and barangay officials of Barangays Sigapod, Balonai, Pisompongan and Cabaluran of Midsalip and Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) conducted Flag Raising Ceremony to show their patriotism, love, and loyalty for our country last June 12.

The Matapat Troopers, aside from the above-mentioned barangays, also conducted the flag raising ceremony in Cabilinan Patrol Base, Barangay Cabilinan, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur.

This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
