VALUING CONSTITUENTS | LGU, Army Advance Better Life Program for CAFGU

The Municipal Government of Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte and the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) advanced Better Life “Adopt a CAFGU Project” through a Serbisyo Caravan held at Guibo Patrol Base, Brgy Guibo, Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte on June 9, 2021.

Siayan Mayor Josecor Gepolongca and 53IB Bravo Company Commander 1Lt. Niel Kim Garcia distributed food packs, conducted free check-up, distribution of medicine, free ‘Operation Tuli,’ feeding program, and free haircut to the CAAs, their beneficiaries and dependents, and to the residents of Barangay Guibo.

Also present in the activity are: Siayan RHU Nurse Mr Victorino Labastida, Siayan police chief PMaj Aiko Tesoro, DILG-Siayan Mr. Chandiramani Obut, and Guibo Barangay Captain Linda Malanao.

The “Adopt a CAFGU Project” is part of the 53IB’s drive to strategically communicate the Army’s transformation to become world class that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
