53IB Attends COVID-19 Update and Security Meeting in Pagadian City: The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) attends COVID-19 Update Meeting at the Emergency Operations Center, Plaza Luz, Pagadian City on June 5, 2021.

Topics discussed were all about Updates on COVID 19 cases, situation of hospitals in Pagadian City, Security of Vaccines, and Contingency Plan on worst-case scenario.

The activity was attended by PFC Sherwin Bartolome, PMaj. Hienz Legaspe, Deputy for Medical Services Dr Noel Ceniza, Deped-IX, and Department of Health – City Health Office.

This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
