53IB Attends Covid-19 Update Meeting in Pagadian City

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) attended the Covid-19 Update Meeting on May 31, 2021, at Emergency Operation Center, Plaza Luz, Pagadian City, Among the topics that were discussed include: Covide-19 cases updates, Hospital situations in Pagadian City, and Contingency plan on worst-case scenario.The meeting, presided by Pagadian City Administrator Engr. Joseph Isaias Quipot VI, was attended by PNP P/Cpt. Hienz Legaspe, Medical Services Deputy Dr. Noel Ceniza, DepEd IX Representative Jingle Bintoy, DOH Officers Dra. Ryka Angelique Gaviola and Dr. Edward Nasiad, DILG Representative Bong H Granada, and 53IB Personnel Pfc. Sherwin Bartolome, This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to strategically communicate the Army’s transformation to become world class that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
