PROVINCIAL COVID-19 COORDINATION MEETING | 53IB Attends Covid-19 Emergency Meeting in Zamboanga del Sur

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) participated in the emergency meeting of the Provincial Task Force on Covid-19 held on May 28, 2021, at the Balay Bisaya, Dao, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur.

Among the topics that were discussed include: Covid-19 cases situation presented by the Integrated Provincial Health Office, Covid-19 cases situation presented by the Provincial DOH Office, Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center and Margosatubig Regional Hospital status, Vaccination Report, Quarantine Measures, and Patient statusThe meeting, spearheaded by Zamboanga del Sur Governor Victor Yu and ZDS 1st District Representative Divina Grace Yu, was attended by 53IB Charlie “Colossus” Company Executive Officer 2Lt. Kim Cedrick Lemus, and different local government units and agencies officers.

This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
