PAGADIAN CITY COVID-19 COORDINATION MEETING | 53IB Attends Covid-19 Emergency Meeting in Pagadian City
The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) participated in the emergency meeting regarding Covid-19 held on May 27, 2021, at the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) in Pagadian City.
The meeting, spearheaded by EOC President/City Admin Engr. Joseph Isaias Quipot VI, was attended by 53IB Charlie “Colossus” Company Executive Officer 2Lt. Kim Cedrick Lemus, PNP Representative P/MSg. Fidel Lingatong Jr., City Medical Services Representative Dr. Noel Ceniza, DepEd IX Representative Jingle Bintoy, DOH Representatives Dra. Ryka Angelique Gaviola and Dr. Edward Nasiad, and DILG Representative Bong Granada.
Among the topics that were discussed include: updates on Covid-19 cases, situations of hospitals in Pagadian City, and contingency plan on worst case scenario.
This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
