53IB Attends Covid-19 Updates Meeting in Pagadian City

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) participated in the Covid-19 Updates meeting held at Emergency Operation Center, Plaza Luz, Pagadian City on May 24, 2021.

The meeting, spearheaded by Pagadian City Local Government Unit led by City Administrator Engr. Joseph Isaias Quipot VI, was attended by PNP PCpt Heinz Legaspe, Medical Services Deputy Dr. Noel Ceniza, City Executive Officer Audrey Cabato, Liga Ng Barangay led by Recardo Aranas, and 53IB Charlie Company Commander 1Lt. Alvin Ibarra.

This 53IB’s participation in the said meeting is part of the unit’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
