Matapat Troopers Conduct Combat Life Saver Training in Lakewood, ZDS

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) conducted Combat Life Saver for Matapat Troopers in Barangay Gasa, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur on May 25, 2021.

Among the topics that were discussed during the training include: Roles and Responsibilities of First Aider; Objectives, Steps, and Procedures of First Aid; Classifications of Wounds and Injuries; and Basic Life Support The lectures were facilitated by 53IB SSg. Arnel Bustamante and 53IB Charlie “Colossus” Company Executive Officer 2Lt. Kim Cedrick Lemus.

This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
