ENHANCING COMBAT SKILLS: Matapat Troopers Undertake Company Formation, Movement Techniques Training in Lakewood, ZDS

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) conducted Company Formation and Movement Techniques for Matapat Troopers in Barangay Gasa, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur on May 22, 2021.

Among the topics that were discussed during the training, to refresh the knowledge and skills of the troops and improve their combat techniques, include: Company, Platoon, and Squad Formation and Movement Techniques.

The lectures were facilitated by 53IB Battalion First Sergeant TSg. Albert Caño, 53IB Charlie “Colossus” Company Commander 1Lt Alvin Ibarra , and 53IB Charlie Company Executive Officer 2Lt Kim Cedrick Lemus.

This activity is part of the 53IB’s drive to pursue transformation to become a world class Army that is a source of national pride by 2028 in line with the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR).
