TRADITION ENDING RAMADHAN: Army is One with Muslim Communities in Celebrating Hariraya Idhil Fitir in ZDS

The Officers, Men and Women of the Phiippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) join our Muslim Brothers and Sisters in the observance of Idhil Fitir.

Idhil Fitir is known in Muslim communities as the “Festival of Breaking the Fast.” It is a religious holiday that marks the end of the month-long Ramadhan dawn-to-sunset fasting and prayers.

“May peace be always in our hearts,” 53IB Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Jo-ar Herrera said.
