OPERATIONS AREA UPDATES: 53IB Holds Courtesy Call to Siayan, ZDN

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) paid a visit to the Local Government Unit of Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte on April 29, 2021.53IB Alpha Company Commander 1Lt. Janryl Gumalad and Bravo Company Commander 1Lt. Niel Kim Garcia discussed with Siayan Mayor Josecor Gepolangca about the 53IB’s Area of Operations updates in the whole Zambonga del Sur and including Siayan in Zambonga del Norte.The schedule of activities for 53IB’s Better Life Program for CAFGUs Active Auxiliary (CAA) and their dependents was also discussed during the visit.
