The Municipality of Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur held the Barangay Defense System Training Graduation Ceremony at Dumingang Sports Complex in San Pablo, Dumingag on April 23, 2021, to strengthen peace and security efforts at the barangay level as first responders.Spearheaded by Mayor Joan Abejuela and Vice Mayor Mydell Pacalioga, the program was attended by ZDS Governor Victor Yu, 1ID Assistant Division Commander Brig. Gen. Bagnis Gaerlan Jr., Oplan Amuma Executive Director Ronel Cabilan, ELCAC Focal Person Cluster Head OIC Ruel Trobanos, Barangay Officials, and representatives from BFP and PNP.
