IN PHOTOS | 102Bde Best Practices, Security Brief in Dipolog City

The Philippine Army’s 102nd Infantry “IGSOON” Brigade (102Bde) held the Joint Task Group (JTG) 102nd “IGSOON” Accomplishment Report and Security Brief at Mibang Hotel, Dipolog City on April 9, 2021.

The program tackled security updates including Dismantled Units of Western Mindanao Regional Party Committee, WMRPC Manpower and Firearms Trend, Cleared Affected Barangays Thru CSP, Result of Combat Operations, Neutralized CTG Personalities, Captured and Surrendered CTG War Material Disposition and Location within the area of responsibilities.

53rd Infantry “MATAPAT” Battalion (53IB) Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Jo-ar Herrera shared the best practices imposed in 53IB for the accomplishment of missions in ending communist insurgency.

“I appreciate the 53IB for being so dedicated to serving the people and securing the land. I noticed that the 53IB is always updating their Facebook page from time to time. It shows that they truly care for the welfare and progress of everyone in their area,” 1ID Commander Maj. Gen. Gene Ponio said.

“We will continue in our dedication to achieving peace especially in the implementation of ELCAC projects since it is proven to be a big help to every unit’s mission,” 102Bde Commander Brig. Gen. Leonel Nicolas said.

The program was also attended by Zamboanga del Norte Governor Roberto Uy, 102Bde Executive Officer Lt. Col. Nolasco Coderos, 102Bde Deputy Commander Col. Antonio John Divinagracia, 102Bde Operations Officer Maj Arlene Palafox, 10IB Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Ray Tiongson, 42IB Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Peter Garceniego Jr., 44IB Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Filven Noche, and 97IB Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Manaros Boransing.
