53IB, LGU Affirm Security Measures To Totally Defeat CPP NPA in Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “MATAPAT” Battalion (53IB) provided security and ELCAC updates during the Municipal Peace Order and Council (MPOC) for Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur municipality on March 23, 2021.

The meeting was attended by Guipos Municipal Mayor Vicente Cajeta, 53IB Executive Officer, Cpt Bahnarin Camsa, DILG Guipos Officials, SFO1 Liberty Sustento, BFP Berhel Gillamac, Chief of Police PMaj. Agda, Barangay Officials of Guipos, and other officials of the municipality.

The LGU and Security sector affirm their collaboration and partnership to strengthen measures to protect the remote communities and vulnerable sectors from the deception scheme of CPP NPA terrorist group.
