Better Life for CAFGUs, Community Engagement Deliver Government Services at Barangay Baking, Lakewood, ZDS

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “MATAPAT” Battalion (53IB) conducted the “Better Life for CAFGUs (Adopt a CAFGU) Project and Community Engagement activities at Barangay Baking, Lakewood, Zamboanga del Sur on March 23, 2021.

The said activities included the distribution of relief goods and Medical Mission for CAAs (CAFGU Active Auxillary) personnel, dependents, and residents of Barangay Baking, initiated by 53IB Charlie Company Commander 1Lt. Jonathan Cernitchez in coordination with Lakewood Municipal Mayor Domingo Mirrar, Lakewood Municipal Health Unit Officer Dr. Doreen Bosleng, Barangay Baking Chairman Rolando Langgas.
