CAFGUs Get Morale Boost with ‘Better Life’ Program in Pagadian City

Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit (CAFGU) personnel at Lourdes, Lison Valley and Palpalan Patrol Base in Pagadian City received benefits from the “Better Life” Program – Adopt a CAFGU Project initiated by the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “MATAPAT” Battalion (53IB) in partnership with Pagadian City Councilor Sam Tyra Co in a simple program on March 18-19, 2021.

“This activity aims to boost the morale of our CAFGUs. The “Better Life Program” – Adopt a CAFGU Project is our way our providing the necessary assistance, knowledge, and structural pathway for our CAFGU Active Auxiliary personnel for them to achieve personal and professional growth,” 53IB Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Jo-ar Herrera said.The program was spearheaded by 53IB Charlie Company Commander 1Lt Jonathan Cernitchez.
