53IB, San Miguel LGU Hold Simulation Exercises for Covid-19 Vaccination Program

To prepare the Municipality of San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur for the upcoming Covid-19 Vaccination Program, the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “MATAPAT” Battalion (53IB) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Miguel held Simulation Activity at the Municipal Hall Compound on March 16, 2021.

The activity’s objective was to determine the preparedness of the LGU’s Covid-19 Vaccination Team or the actual vaccination as part of the nationwide implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination program.

The activity was initiated by San Miguel Municipal Mayor Angelito Martinez II and Municipal Health Officer Dr. Jiereen Fernandez in partnership with 53IB.
