53IB Conducts MEDCAP in Dumingag, ZDS

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “MATAPAT” Battalion (53IB) in partnership with Barangays Canibongan, Malagalad, and Datu Tutukan in Dumingag town, Zamboanga del Sur conducted MEDCAP (Medical and Dental Civic Action Program) on March 11-12, 2021.

The said MEDCAP activities include free medical check-ups, haircuts, circumcision, feeding program, free massage, and giving of medicine to the residents of the said barangays.

The activities were spearheaded by the Local Government Unit of Dumingag, Regional Health Unit Officer Dra. Jokandra Panogaw, Barangay Canbongan Chairman Cerilo Anguilay, MPDO Jenechil Francisco, DepEd Head Teacher Nilfa Astacan, Women’s Coordinator Ailyn Rebuyas, 902MB Platoon Leader Lt Joel Cabalona, Municipal Dentist Dr. Reynaldo Vasquez, Barangay Chairman Albino Romendez, MCAD PNCO PSSG Javelin Manzo, MDRRMO Staff Jazzel Costanilla and 53IB CMO Sgt Randolph Montiel and PFC Joven Batucan.
