53IB Officer, 7 Enlisted Personnel receive Military Commendation Medals

The Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “MATAPAT” Battalion (53IB) acknowledged the service and dedication for exemplary performance and loyalty to duty as Officer and Enlisted Personnel during the successful conduct of series of Bloodletting Activities from 4th Quarter 2019 to 3rd Quarter 2020 in Pagadian City.

The said activity was in partnership with the Philippine National Red Cross and Rotary Club of Pagadian City.

The award was presented by 53IB Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Jo-ar Herrera during the Flag Raising Ceremony at 53lB Headquarters, Camp David Sabido, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur on February 22, 2021.

The awardees include 1Lt. Oliver Carmen, Cpl. Edmar  Cullamar, Cpl. Jerry  Badilles Jr, Cpl. Nelvin  Albezo, Cpl. Dionard Jauculan, Pfc. Peter Paul Martinez,and Pfc. Arnold Lumangcag.
