Zamboanga del Sur, 53IB Protect Youth from CPP-NPA Deception, Recruitment

Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Governor Victor J. Yu and 1st District Representative Congresswoman Divina Grace C. Yu affirmed their support to the Philippine Army’s 53rd Infantry “MATAPAT” Battalion’s fight against youth recruitment and deception by the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF).

Gov. Victor Yu and Rep. Divina Yu pledged distribution of at least One Thousand (1,000) copies of BREAKING FREE (from Communist Deception) book to Zamboanga del Sur municipalities.

The BREAKING FREE book highlights eye-opening narratives of actual accounts of young people’s fateful journeys who were once deceived but were able to break free from the shadows of communist deceptions in the Zamboanga Peninsula.
