Former NPA rebels attend carpentry training

Six (6) Former New People’s Army Rebels (FRs) and Nineteen (19) CAFGU Active Auxiliaries (CAAs) of the Army’s 53rd Infantry “Matapat” Battalion (53IB) participated in the recent skills enhancement training on carpentry and installation of wooden cabinet provided by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

This training intends to capacitate the FRs and CAAs and equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to be productive members of society.

The participant will build the furnitures for the Halfway House.
