Former Rebels Recieve Livelihood Assistance from Government

The Government’s Whole-of-Nation approach actively involves national government agencies (NGAs) such as the DSWD to help the Former Rebels (FRs) in their transition to mainstream society.

The DSWD thru its Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Regional Office IX distributed the Provision of Livelihood Assistance amounting to a total of Php 220,000 to 11 FRs who surrendered to 53rd IB. (4th Civil Relations Group, CRSAFP)
