As part of the convergence, Dir. Navarro laid down the programs and initiatives of PRLEC especially those for the Former Rebels, including skills training and livelihood training, as well as education and training for the Matapat Troopers.

This is also to take advantage of the NC-II certification in Organic Farming received by FRs who surrendered to 53rd IB.

Also to show the status of the FRs, Dir. Navarro visited their temporary shelter built inside the military reservation. Talking to the FRs, he also informed the FRs about the programs and initiatives through TESDA.

A tree-planting activity was also conducted at the vicinity of the halfway house, which was funded by DILG.

Future initiatives also include empowering communities in far-flung barangays, also by conducting technical education and skills training in the future.
