Feeding Program for a healthier, brighter community

Personnel of 53rd Infantry (MATAPAT) Battalion also conducted a feeding program as part of its 2-week community engagement activity in Purok 4, Sitio Dumalian, Barangay Lourdes, Pagadian City, ZDS

The community engagement team was led by 2Lt. Jay Mar Paderes, a Platoon Leader in Alpha Company of this unit. The engagement lasted for about two weeks.

The said Feed Program Activity is part of a series of activities incorporated in the unit’s conduct of Community Engagement.

Also in the duration of the community engagement, the team also played with the children; distributed toys and candies, transistor radios to deliver timely and accurate information; distributed information leaflets on how to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 and leaflets about the E-CLIP program of the government; and a Flag Raising Ceremony as the conclusion of their community engagement.
