53rd IB strengthens coastal security posture, boosts morale of men

The 53rd Infantry (MATAPAT) Battalion continuously sustains and strengthens the security posture of its coastal patrol bases to prevent occurrence of piracy and criminality in the coastal municipalities of Zamboanga del Sur.

Troops visited Danganan Patrol Base situated in Lapuyan town, this province yesterday 24 June.

53rd IB Commander Lt. Col. Jo-ar Herrera talked and inspired the troops, while 53rd IB Sergeant Major Tsg Vicente Mayo inspected the troops and shared his insights.
